Paralegal

Maria Ashby

Maria joined our firm in 2020 as a paralegal. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the State University of New York College at New Paltz.  During that time, she served as a research assistant at the University’s Center for Regional Research and Educational Outreach on a project studying public access to government services.  She was elected to the Board of Directors of the New York Public Interest Research Group, an environmental and consumer advocacy organization. Subsequently, Maria earned a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Suffolk County Community College in New York.  There, she served as vice president of the school’s Legal Society.
